FYI- I dont have a bad credit rating but I’ve made a number of applications which has been left on my credit file and can affect my chances of getting a loan when the financial institution sees it.

Does your signature on an application (even though it doesn’t state that this will be done) imply that you’ve given your permission for a credit check to be run? There was no fee charged for a credit check, nothing on the application that stated that one would be run, and no mention of it verbally.
Can this be done without your permission?
