Sprint - Do I have to have a certain amount on my credit card?

Most of the time they do a pre authorization on your credit card. Now sometimes this can be as little as one dollar and other times it will be the full price. Every company is different. Check to see what the cost would actually be i am willing to bet there trying to pre authorize the full amount then what they do is after the phone has been shipped that charge is released and you pay nothing.
