You can use a debit card. Not sure about if it’s free. I use my checking account to pay and receive money.

Some websites send checks but most do the paypal thing. Paypal only charges the sender, not the receiver. As for a credit card or a debit card, anything that has the word VISA or Mastercard will work.

I recommend you use the credit card instead of your debt card becasue of the protection Visa/MC/Amex gives you when you make purchases for none receive items, damage items, etc…

You would need a pay pal account to receive money. Pay pal charges a fee for receiving credit cards as payments. You can receive whats known as a e-check, but it too has a fee attached to it. If you link a bank account, to your pay pal account; then you can transfer the money the money into your bank. It is like direct deposit, and there is no fee attached.

No you don’t need a credit card to receive money on paypal. Yes you can request a check from paypal but it will cost you $1.50 and Processing Time can take anywhere between 1-2 weeks. And yes getting a debit card is free all you need is to open a checking account and you can get a debit card. Or you can just get a prepaid visa or master card.

Stop playing banker on the web sites giving them your credit and debit card numbers with pin codes. Don’t be so lazy go to the bank and make transfer… That is how money gets taken from your accounts—they have all the info they need to steal your money and make credit purchases….
