What exact information does a credit check show?

So here’s my deal…I am highly recommended to manage these semi-upscale apartments. The person who recommended me is a friend/manager of another complex. She is her bosses favorite. Anyways, me and wife are meeting w/ this “big boss” on Friday. I know they are going to run a credit check on us. My wife has A+++ credit and mine is awful. What does the credit report show? Does it show my “age”? Does it show my DOB?

dob –scores for both of you how much you owe good accounts as well as bad and any public records such as bankruptcy or judgments

A typical credit report shows masked information like your DOB like Apr 10 19**, this is so if it gets into the wrong hands, your information isn’t just out there. Same for your account numbers…if you have a Visa it will show 4506 XXXX XXXX XX33 or something like that.
If your wife’s credit is great and yours is less desirable, maybe they’ll look at it as giving you the benefit of the doubt. If your score is terrible due to current issues, well they may doubt your ability to pay. On the contrary if you’re score is being whipped due to past boo boo’s they may be more forgiving.
