Depends on what you are trying to do. Nobody has to be sitting there when their credit is pulled, you just have to authorize it. You should just call the place & find out the details, asking on here is not going to get you the answer.

He probably needs to meet with the landlord or his agent, to fill out the application, sign it, and show his ID. If this is a “ma and pa” operation, they may not require it.

nobody has to be present when doing a credit check, it can all be done on the computer.Since yuo didn’t say what the credit check was for, I have no idea what they r checking or what you need to bring.

the lease application probably has a release he has to sign in order for them to run the credit ck. as long as he signs it-he doesn’t have to be there. you may want to take a xerox copy of his driver’s license so you can prove that’s him
